1. This life is a test for the hereafter
According to Surah Mulk chapter 67 verse 2
"He Who created Death and Life, that He may try which of you is best in deed; And He is the Exalted in Might, oft-Forgiving." [Al-Qur’an 67:2]
2. Allaah tests different human beings in different ways
Every year the question paper in an examination keeps on changing. It does not remain the same. Similarly Allaah tests different human beings in different ways. He gives health to some people while others are born with defects or are handicapped. To some people He gives wealth, while others are poor.
3. Judgement will be based upon the difficulty of the test
Depending upon what facilities and qualities Allaah has provided to each human being, Allaah (S.W.T.) will judge him accordingly. If the test is difficult then Allaah will be lenient while judging. If the test is simple then Allaah will not be lenient while judging. A poor person does not have to give Zakaah. He gets full marks where Zakaah is concerned. On the other hand a rich person is supposed to give Zakaah. Many rich people give much less than what they actually are supposed to give, thus getting less marks (or negative marks) where Zakaah is concerned.
4. Human beings with congenital defects are a test for their parents.
Many infants are born with congenital defects. Some are deaf and dumb, while others are handicapped. An infant is not responsible for his or her defect. In such cases perhaps Allaah is testing the parents, whether they yet have faith in Him after this misfortune.
Allaah says in the Qur'ân in Surah Anfal Chapter 8 verse 28
"And know ye that your possession and your progeny are but a trial; and that it is Allaah with whom lies your highest reward". [Al-Qur’an 8:28]

This is a tough one to make sense of . . . because so much of what happens in our world seems unfair. When Adam & Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden they brought sin into the world. Sin meant not just evil but sickness, death, disease, all the "bad" things that happen now. God is Just because He sent His son Jesus to redeem us from death & give us everlasting life. That everlasting life starts the moment we accept Christ as our Saviorr. It may not seem like our llife here is better but in reality it is. We now have a Friend that will never leave us, He is always there for us. He may not take the hurt, pain or the struggle away becaise we live in the world which is Satan's domain but God will gove us the strength & ability to survive and overcome anything that this world throws at us. It's not that He can't operate in Satan's domain but God uses all thngs for good for those who serve Him. I know in my own life I have frequently questioned why certatin thaings were allowed to happen to me, why I had to suffer so many different things? But now looking back, the roads I walked made me how I am today, which I hopw is a better more loving, kinder person. He didn't take the bad stuff away but He got me thriugh it and has kept me going and I know for sure that it was Him carring me "cause in several instances there was no way I waas going to walk through on my own. Hope this helps.

It seems cruel doesn't it.!! My father always told me that God would never give me more to fight against than I could manage. Not sure that God and I have ever been on the same page with that; but none the less I am grateful for having the chance to prove myself.
Some are given the chance to show us how to rise above, poverty, degradation or disability. Some are given the opportunity to use their wealth, position and good health to help others less fortunate.
No one ever said on God's side that he would make it all prefect for us sinners, it is up to us to be able to see the beauty and joy of each new sunrise, a baby's smile or that they can make a difference.

Religion is an invention by man in order to control his fellow man. In those times, the Middle East was under Roman dictatorship. Lots of yuong girls and women were raped, In order to accept without blame, they were called 'virgin births'. Historically, there may well have been Mary, Joseph and Jesus. But, maybe Jesus was just a man born before his time, in fact before our time now. Maybe he was a deep thinking individual who realised that there was no need for people to go hungry if we all shared what we have. Maybe he was knowlagible in the use of herbs as medicine. In this world today, there is no need for hunger, poverty and a lot of the illness about. If money was spent on feeding people instead of killing them and pharmautical companies dropped the price of medicine instead of selling to the highest bidder. If money was done away with completely and everyone had enough to eat, a roof over their heads and helped each other more, the world might be a better place. The world unfortunately is ruled by corruption and greed. An 'I'm alright Jack attitude'. Money spent on research instead of bombs and bullets. Spent on rebuilding the world instead of destroying it. In extreem times of floods, Tsunami's, drought etc, we all pull together. Wouldn't it be nice if we could do that more and steal, kill and maim less? Why can't people seem to realise this instead of ignoring it? I'm just glad I won't be around to see it all go bang in the end. Illness and poverty are there because of greed, intolerance and corruption, nothing more.

God created 'all' men equal.
And your question is a very logical one with an illogical view,
(no pun intended).
We could ask God why on earth would he allow his 'only' son to be tortured in a 'terrible' way, then hung on a cross to die for us.
Or we might ask, 'Why does God allow so much evil to go on in the world'. There is a 'simple' answer!!
When God first created man, man was perfect in every way.
When satan tricked Eve into eating the apple, then temping Adam
to eat it too, sin was let loose because of their disobedience to God.
Sin (evil) engulfed the whole world causing terrible things to happen.
God meant for 'all' men to be healthy, wealthy and wise, but the
fall of Adam and Eve changed all that.
Here's your reason for rich and poor alike, healthy and unhealthy
people also. Good and Bad everywhere.
So why did God allow Adam and Eve to do such a thing, He could have stopped them!!
God gave them a 'free will', enabling them to make their own choices, but they chose to do evil by disobeying God.
And mankind and all the earth have suffered for that sin!!
That is the reason he sent his son Christ, to die for us!!

I don't believe in a God. There is no reason for people born with defects or to poor families except bad luck.

"Born healthy" v. "born with defects", deafness, poverty v. wealth--these are all relative qualities tied to earthly life. If everyone is to be "not poor", then what exactly would that level of wealth be for each individual? It is all relative when speaking of this world. If a certain small group of people were born being able to see ultra-violet light with their naked eyes, would the rest of the human population be "defective" or "deficient", such that it would suggest an unjust God? No. Absolutely not. God is just because he is fair when judging and punishing. Someone born into poverty, with a defect, or a disease, does not manifest punishment from God. The causes of misery in this world can definitely be tied to evil. God wants very much for things to be right. A time will happen when justice will be finally served, but when it happens, the world as we know it shall be melting away. It will be all over with. We've been given time to try to set things right; more than that, to make the decision to accept God's love and mercy, or to reject His love and mercy.

This touch the fabric of co-existence in this world. To start with, God sent Souls, that is, you and I, to this world to learn to become a co-worker with Him or It. In the begining Soul chose a form to come to this world, human, animals, trees or other life forms. Thus begins the journey of Soul,or if you like the travail of Soul in this world. As It goes about Its learning, Soul will pass some tests and fail some. Soul them must come back to pay and get paid in order to balance Its account. An Eck sage once says: "life is a perpetual balancing of account, man is credited with the good deeds and debited with the bad ones. He must return to pay and to collect". This is the whole theory of Karma and Reincarnation in a nutshell. There is a popular saying that the measure you give the measure you shall receive. Many religions made allusion to this principle. For example, in the Bible it is written; "ye not be deceived, God is not mocked, for ye reap what ye sow". In another section it stated: an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth. Of course, in the East, the law is aknowledged and widely accepted as the governing principle of life. To explain, this law says that if you maimed somebody, be expected to be maimed, if you steal from someone, somewhere along you will be stolen from for the book to balance. In any event that you cannot get payment or give payment for all you dues before you die, which is usually the case, you have to come back to rectify the book; this is reincarnation.
Some have abused wealth, so they come back poor, some have abused power, they are here to taste the opposite, some maimed somebody and probably the law absorbed them of wrong doing, now he is back to be maimed, some have come as great intellectuals, they may be here as an idiot if they abused that priviledge. For Soul, this is a just law. Infact, at a glance, you may want to belief that it is self inflicted, because Soul with some guurdian, choose the condition of Its birth. It is all in the pursuit of purity, so that Soul can fulfil Its destiny - becomes a co-worker with God. I hope I am able to help. For a fuller understanding of this, I recommend the following book: The Journey of Soul, Past lives, Dreams and Soul Travel, and The Spiritual Arts of Dreaming, all by Harold Klemp. There is no god. It is a myth, a fairy story. Birth defects are not manufactured or willed by anyone, they happen as part of nature. And being born into a rich family happens like this:
1. you get born
2. your family is either rich or poor or just comfortable
god has nothing to do with it. Why should there be a god involved here?

Everyone is born with a special gift..The deaf person , may be here to teach us that life is so beautiful when we don't always hear all the ugly. The poor person may be hear to teach us humility, he may have the riches of good health and a loving family, that is wealth. We as men judge so quickly...when the answers are so simple...Think about it....
