Absolutely. There is no restriction on sending such materials to soldiers. If you have a lot of materials it is best to send them to a chaplain as they can put them out for distribution at the places they serve. I picked up a lot of such materials while I was over there.

The US Postal Service has announced that APO ZIP codes for US military units in Kuwait and countries near the Iraq war zone will be made available only to family members and close friends of deployed soldiers. Postal officials stated that the limitation had been imposed due to anthrax and other terrorist threats.
Programs that allowed the general public to send mail addressed to "Any Service Member" were cancelled more than a year ago. While these programs were popular with the public during Desert Storm and other operations, officials said security concerns and transportation constraints with military mail led to their cancellation. Web sites such as http://anyservicemember.navy.mil, and Army Knowledge Online email have been suggested as alternate means to contact soldiers.
Also, they were getting hate mail from people here....Aint that great?

Billy Graham is not a soldier. He's even older than me.
Of course you can send Christian materials to soldiers.

You can send any type of religious stuff you want to. In fact, if you want to send it to a particular person, you can. If you want to send stuff to any soldier that wants it, then call your local red cross. They will tell you how to address it. It is a myth that soldiers are limited on the amount of religious materials they can get or take with them. All religions in the military are legal, and there is accommodation for any belief, from Satanism to Christianity.

A small personal bible is one of the only.. if not THE only thing Marine Corps recruits CAN keep from home as they enter boot camp. If you know a soldier who would value such a gift, then you may feel free to send it to him or her.
After all... We are guaranteed freedom OF religion.. not freedom FROM religion.. :)

just as long as you don't send large quantities of religious material, such as for distribution purposes...

please do not send religious material to soldiers in iraq. you take the chance on offending someone that might not be accepting of the material. its rather annoying to have someone you don't know get "preachy" on you. its okay if you know the person well enough though.

Yeah, max out all 37 of your credit cards on 700 Club merchandise to send to the troops. It's what GOD commands, remember what Bush told us? Jesus said spend, spend, spend, or the terrorists win!
