I think that it makes it easier for praying because you have to remove your shoes 6 times a day and wash your feet. This would be easier wearing sandals. Is this why?

well we hafta pray5 times a day not 6 secondly,wearing sandals is a sunnat i.e tradition of our prophet muhammed(saw) not all wear sandals all da time most arabs wear it coz dey wear a long white dress called kandura or dish dasha n dey usually wear sandals under em so sum ppl wear it out of dier own choice n oders out of luv n respect 4 pur prophet n yes it can come handy in ways like u jus mentioned above........
