He says he loves me , but when it comes down to showing me he never does. When it's his birthday he calls to reminds me that it's his day(which I know).....but he forgets mine...same thing on christmas . What can I do?

You need to Tell him when he reminds you of his day that you have the same thing waiting for him that he got for you last year. He sounds like a Jack ***.. I can buy that maybe he cant remember birthdays but Christmas... He is a self centered cheap ***. Please tell me you don't buy him anything. Actions speak louder than words.. To be totally honest you have wasted 4 years and this Christmas give yourself the gift and DUMP him. Say I love you and I am going to show you how much,,,,in fact as much as you've shown me you love me in last 4 years grab your stuff and walk out the door. If he wants to know Why you are leaving ...... tell him " I FORGOT!!!" You are worth more. You deserve to be shown just how much.

Its simple. He doesnt love you the way you love him. You wouldnt forget his b-day becaquse its special to you, yet he keeps forgetting urs and doesnt even get you a present. Look it isnt about what kind of present he gets you, its that he values any occasion that is attached to you , but he doesnt. Girl u need a new bf, this guy is purely selfish and only can love himself. True love is about how much u can give from within you .

Girl sounds like you really need to sit and evaluate your relationship. Other than the fact he doesn't buy you gifts he sounds very selfish. Is that something you want to put up with for the rest of your life???? Sounds to me that he is a me person. And why you have put up with this is beyond me. Good luck and be strong.

Lose that sucker. If you were really important to him, he would remember your birthday, unless he is mentally retarded. And how could he forget Christmas? There is Christmas stuff literally everywhere you look!! He is a jerk. You can do better. Oh, and for his birthday, don't get him anything. Please. If he asks, tell him you will get him what he got you last year.
