does that mean their Oxen and Sheep would be serving God too?

Exod. 22: 29-30, "29 You shall not delay the offering from your harvest and your vintage. The first-born of your sons you shall give to Me. 30 You shall do the same with your oxen and with your sheep. It shall be with its mother seven days; on the eighth day you shall give it to Me."

Or is there something more sinister here?

Why do any Christians pay attention to this?
It is like a person dangling a string with a carrot in fron to fyour face and you follow, it is a form of control.Ignore such folly.
Answer serious questions, avoid one who proves himself to be a reprobate.
I answer fo rthe benefit of others.
The point and spiritul lesson we laern form this is yes, everything that is precious and we consider ourselves sole owners of belongs to the Great God and Creator of man , including ourselves. There is another verse in scipture that says that the Lord ordained that in remebrance that the Lord redeemed the Children of Israel from the plague of the firstborn of egypt, he therefore bought their lives and they belong to Him. It is because of Him that they have them. They were instructed thereforefor their own benefit and learning to offer sacrfices for them.

It would be very hard to understand the true meaning of the
Bible just by pulling out a question you don't understand and
expecting an immediate and intelligent answer. But here goes.
This is the Old Testament: This is the Israelite nation. These
people were dedicated and committed children of God and
obeyed his commandments to the letter.
The Lord ordained that all first-born male children were to be
offered to the Lord. (I think your question is the word "offered".). In that society, males were important and women
mostly were the childbearers. The first-born male became
the head of the family (or clan) after the father's death.
The first-born inherited all that was the natural, human father's
and was also responsible for the well being of the entire family (or clan). The first-born had very specific laws that he
had to implement-in himself and his family. He was the leader
and manager and governor of his family (which may have
in it 1,000 people).

There was a specific ceremony where the first born son was taken to the temple and swore to uphold all of God's laws
for himself and all his family.

As far as the first-born of all flocks, harvests, , etc, this was
dedicated to the Lord and given to the Priests in the Temple.
It is also called the first-fruits. The priests would pray over
these gifts and dedicate them to the Lord, and they were
stored at the temple. The priests had no income and this
was to give them supplies for the service they performed
in the temple and to the Lord.

The first-fruits were also holy supplies to be given to anyone
in need. This is like the Food programs we have today
for the poor.

Sometimes a goat or sheep was sacrificed. This meat was
holy and the priests got first choice, then the whole town came
to feast and rejoice in the plenty the Lord had supplied.

It did NOT mean that the first born was to be slain on the altar
as a sacrifice, nor was all the animals to be sacrificed.

No there is nothing more sinister here. Just means exactly what it says the first born son should be put into God's service, as a priest, etc just as God gave His first born son Jesus in service to save us. THe animals were to be the offerings given at the temple.

That's like Chicken little saying the sky was falling when an acorn hit him on the head... look up man, look up! In other words, in stead of trying to pretend you know what the Bible says and means, just read the (whole) thing first. Seriously, it's like trying to teach a 1st grader the alphabet by reading Great Expectations to him. It just doesn't work.

No...these animals are made to God. Without bloodshed there's no pardon of sin. Since Jesus was slain like the animal, which is why He's called the Lamb of God, He shed His blood once and for all, so we woudln't have to get animals each year to pardon our sins. The only thing is you have to accept Jesus in your heart, or it's of non-effect for you

it means we should offer our Oxen and Sheep to God. and we should give everything we have to God because he deserves it and he gave it to us in the first place.

Why are you diligently studying the Bible for the sole purpose of looking for flaws? I could explain this verse to you but I won't. You are not seeking knowledge but a debate.
