it just lock up and can work none of the tool or icons

It happens occasionally to all of us. Sometimes I attribute it to typing too fast and issuing overlaping commands, thus confusing the computer, or, we are unaware that we are trying to do something the PC will not allow or is not capable of doing.
Then there is also the problem of insufficient RAM. I have 512, which I think is considered average, and usually have no problem.
If you are usining wallpaper and a screensaver full of graphics, you might want to consider dumping them and resetting to blank. Many users are not aware that these things run constantly in the background and consume memory.

If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.
