If you have been friends for a long time then you should be able to talk to him. Tell him that what happened was no mistake and that you like him but you dont want to be the other woman and that you feel bad because he has a girlfriend and its not fair to hurt her. He needs to decide for himself whether he loves his gf or wants to keep going with you. Good luck

I think the best thing you shoudl do is just simply tell him that you don't want to be anything more but friends. He'll understand if he's truly a friend. Also, remember just in case you happen to start crushing over this guy that he's cheated already once on this girl. Starting a relationship with him wouldn't be such a great idea unless you're sure he has matured and would be committed. (Just for future references) :)

Be honest with him and let him know that you love his as a friend but nothing more and that you dont want to hurt him nor his girlfriend.
Whether you can be friends like you used to be, only time will tell. It might be too awkward from this moment on, but then again, maybe not.
Best of Luck!

Straight up, tell him it was a mistake and it's not going to happen again. If you didn't want the hurt the other girl, you would have kept your hands off her man. So don't say that. You weren't even thinking about her at the time and it's a little late for the concern now.

if you don't want to hurt anyone in this you're going to have to bite the bullet and apologize and say it did not mean anything. Just be like "hey i'm sorry about what happened. i don't know what came over me. are we okay?" this should open up some communication on the subject and just make sure he gets the point that it was an isolated incident. good luck

Tell him that you want to be his friend, but you feel that because he has a girlfriend that it would not be fair to her and you dont want to hurt him or her. Just be honest with him and I think that everything will be ok.

You have already done harm to his "relationship" in the fact that you totally disrespectfully disregarded it.
You supposedly owed him this kind of "gift" for his birthday? Right!
Be totally upfront with him about how you feel and be careful from here on out if wish to continue being "friends".

feels like she is immature. in case you have apologized and instructed her that it replaced into an twist of fate, you haven't any longer something to tension approximately. the subsequent time she says something tell her to enhance the hell up. Then, go finally end up yet another woman thus far. shifting on is the terrific revenge.

Make excuses whenever he wants to meet you. He will know without going through the agony of breaking up.

Just mention that it was a blind moment and it will not happen again because it violates the basics of the friendship relation.
