Well, normally I would say follow your heart, but what if the 'big, fat man' became aware of your sordid affair and held the presents for ransom? Could you live with the fact that you would be the sole reason of misery, all the world round? Could you live your life being treated like a leper, like the scum of humanity? When you had nothing left in your life, would you then regret your actions? These are the big questions you need to consider.

You need to be her friend. DO not get in the middle of this unhappy marriage. If she becomes separated or divorced then pursue her other wise nothing good will come out of this! trust me.
