Jews believe that Jesus existed but they do not believe that he is the Messiah. Jews who did believe that he is became Christians. Jews are still waiting for their Messiah. It kind of makes sense doesn't it that they don't celebrate the birth of Jesus as the Messiah if they don't believe that he is.

Jesus is a false Massiah
http://www.evilbible.com/jesus_false.htm
Prophecies to Identify the Messiah, Which Jesus Does Not Fulfill:
1) Matthew 1:23 says that Jesus (the messiah) would be called Immanuel, which means "God with us." Yet no one, not even his parents, call him Immanuel at any point in the bible.
2) The Messiah must be a physical descendant of David (Romans 1:3 & Acts 2:30). Yet, how could Jesus meet this requirement since his genealogies in Matthew 1 and Luke 3 show he descended from David through Joseph, who was not his natural father because of the Virgin Birth. Hence, this prophecy could not have been fulfilled.
3) Isaiah 7:16 seems to say that before Jesus had reached the age of maturity, both of the Jewish countries would be destroyed. Yet there is no mention of this prophecy being fulfilled in the New Testament with the coming of Jesus, hence this is another Messiah prophecy not fulfilled.
There's more, but I don't like taking up a lot of space.

Because although Jewish people know Jesus lived they don't believe he was the Messiah the Lord was talking about. They believe the Messiah hasn't come yet. The Bible says they won't know that Jesus is and always was Messiah until the Antichrist desocrates the Holy Temple, that is supposed to be rebuilt. That is why God has marked the 144,000 from the 12 tribes of Israel who will be saved no matter what, because they are His people. There are converted Jews that do celebrate now though.

While Jesus was Jewish, he is not accepted by the Jewish religion as their Messiah. They had (and still have) certain expectation about who the Messiah will be and what he will accomplish. Those expectations (the main one being that Jesus free the nation of Israel from the Roman) were not meet, so He was rejected as a false prophet, and is not celebrated by them.

The Jewish people don't believe Jesus was the true Messiah.
The Jewish people back then who did believe it basically left Jewdaism to become what was later known as Christians.

Christians celebrate his birth because they believe he is the messiah. Jewish people don't because they don't believe he was the messiah. They are still waiting for the messiah.
