You should read more. This is referring to circumcision, a Jewish practice to this day. Even Jesus was circumcised on the 8th day, in accordance with Jewish law:
When eight days were completed for his circumcision, he was named Jesus, the name given him by the angel before he was conceived in the womb. (Luke 2:21)

The Egyptians practiced child sacrifice, but the Bible tells us that God stopped Abraham from sacrificing Isaac because human sacrifice is never acceptable to God. We redeem our first-born by making a symbolic contribution. The only sacrifices allowed were grains, oils, little critters, etc., and the only part of the sacrifice meant for God was the aroma. The sacrifice itself was food for the Levites and their families. They had no land and no means of support.
One doesn't learn Christianity without reading the 2nd Testament, just as one doesn't learn Judaism without reading the Talmud.

SERVICE OF MAN IS ONE THING AND GOD'S ANIMALS IS ANOTHER SO LOOK WHAT THE PEOPLE DID THAT HE DID NOT WANT DONE.
THE REAL HELL IS PARENTS BURNING THEIR CHILDREN IN FIRE
2Chr.28:1 Ahaz was twenty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen
years in Jerusalem: but he did not that which was right in the sight of the LORD,
like David his father: 2Chr.28:3 Moreover he burnt incense in the valley of the
son of Hinnom, and burnt his children in the fire, after the abominations of the
heathen whom the LORD had cast out before the children of Israel.
Jer.7:31 And they have built the high places of Tophet, which is in the valley of the
son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire; which I commanded
them not, neither came it into my heart.Jer.7:32 Therefore, behold, the days come,
saith the LORD, that it shall no more be called Tophet, nor the valley of the son
of Hinnom, but the valley of slaughter: for they shall bury in Tophet, till there
be no place. Jer.19:2 And go forth unto the valley of the son of Hinnom, which is
by the entry of the east gate, and proclaim there the words that I shall tell thee,
Jer.19:3 And say, Hear ye the word of the LORD, O kings of Judah, and inhabitants of
Jerusalem; Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring
evil upon this place, the which whosoever heareth, his ears shall tingle. Jer.19:4
Because they have forsaken me, and have estranged this place, and have burned
incense in it unto other gods, whom neither they nor their fathers have known,
nor the kings of Judah, and have filled this place with the blood of innocents;
Jer.19:5 They have built also the high places of Baal, to burn their sons with
fire for burnt offerings unto Baal, which I commanded not, nor spake it, neither
came it into my mind:

Well people worship god in many different ways and you do many things but you still think of him as great . You see i am the first born of my mother and i set and take me time to pray before I go to sleep. Just like everyone else am I so wrong for being who I am. And if you want to get technical sacrifice means to kill and to send as an tribute to them yet as in the Ten Commandments is states DO NOT MURDER ANY ONE.So is that wrong I say NO. People just found a loop hole out of killing their children.

Well we are to give our first born to him. But of course it is suppose to be read as allegory and understood spiritually.
Rom.12
[1] I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
We are our own first born. Born of the flesh. This first born flesh is to be a "living" sacrifice to God. This would make us born again, hence living as the second born.
John.1
[12] But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
[13] Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
Gal.4
[22] For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman.
[23] But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise.
[24] Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar.
See even the bible itself says it is an allegory. The first born (Hagor or Agar) is us being born the first time by the flesh. and the second born is Isaac (promise) being "born again". ALLEGORY
John.3
[6] That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
John.3
[3] Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Good luck understanding these mysteries of the Bible. With your attitude I fear it will be difficult to grasp the depth of it all. So if you ever are interested, that is all you will have to change to clearly see.
Col.1
[27] To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
Again, living sacrifice to God. This allows our ego minds to fade and Christ to live. All spiritual, nothing said about a historical anything.

If you studied your Bible (if you have one), you'd know the GIVING of the firstborn to God was GIVING them in service, NOT in sacrifice. And if you studied your Bible (if you have one), you'd know there was a way the Jewish families could REDEEM their first-born.
Just another of the numerous examples from the "errant" minds of the skeptics and the scoffers.

if you read the bible through and through you'd understand that the coming of Christ was the new covenant....
All the rules and regulations of the old testament were to prove that were cannot be pure no matter what...hence the sacrifices...
I am ashamed I don't know the context of your quotes but I do know that although his own creation defied him, he still sent his son as the ultimate sacrifice,
we could never be good enough to make God happy...no matter what
Christ had to come and take our punishment...
because God loves us
I KNOW I KNOW..you still aren't convinced....
As much as you want to prove it wrong--remember this--until your eyes aren't open...you won't see the truth..
keep searching...because that's what it seems you are doing...

a little out of context, but accurate, the first born of the Israelites were to be give to God, for the priesthood, he later traded them the first born, for the tribe of Levi, and the tribe of Levi became the priest of God.

I guess you skipped Exodus 13:13 and 15: "...all the firstborn of man amongst thy children shalt thou redeem....Therefore I sacrifice to the LORD all that openeth the matrix, being males : but all the firstborn of my children I redeem." The Israelites did not sacrifice their firstborn males; they redeemed them as the LORD commanded them.
