I personal have never regretted my choice in joining them .It has enlightened my life and enhanced my understanding more than I could have ever known in any other religion.
Regarding Joesph Smith to read his book he translated with an open mind will bring understanding He had only a 3 grade education there is no way someone could have written something like that without divine intervention. That's because it was written by prophets as well
On speaking about the BOOK OF REVELATION it ment that book REVELATIONs Each book of the bible is seprate.

I have a lot to be thakfull for. I was born to parents that were Congregationalists which I guess is just regular protestant type christian. We used to go to church once a week when I was a child. I knew Mormon kids in school and they always seemed to be different and kind of troubled. And I knew Catholics who seemed to be in there own cult thing. There is a good book out there for anyone interested called American Originals I read it last summer and it explains all the Christian religions that were made up in the US including LDS. They believe in talking salamanders and magic plates. I recommend this book weather you are religious or not.

Well I'm LDS and I have never taken any drug.
It is interesting to hear this nice cross section of society with their absolutely warped view of this religion. I don't believe in talking salamanders. Joseph Smith didn't receive revelation from a talking hat. Only missionaries wear white shirts and ride on bikes. (Unless you only have a bike and have to wear a white shirt to work.) And no one can take away your freedom of choice even after you've died. That is not what we are about. I would suggest that, even if you are very comfortable in your own religion, you stop some of those white shirted missionaries and just ask them to tell you the truth about the Mormons. You don't have to change your religion, just at least learn the truth so that you won't sound so ignorant when speaking of one of the largest and fastest growing Christian religions out there.

My son is LDS. And I know LDS. Good people. But some things I can not agree with. But harmless. Reason this country was originally founded was to worship God how we choose. Let's keep it that way.

AT THE END OF THE BOOK OF REVELATION WE ARE TAUGHT THAT ANYONE WHO ADDS TO OR TAKES AWAY FROM THIS BOOK WILL SUFFER ALL THE PLAGUES AND WRATH WORTHY OF THEIR DEED. THAT PRETTY MUCH SUMS IT UP. I WILL SAY THAT WE COULD ALL LEARN FROM THEIR KINDNESS AND HOSPITALITY.

Defend the poor and fatherless; Do justice to the afflicted and needy. Deliver the poor and needy; Free them from the hand of the wicked.

Psalm 82:3-4

GOD BLESS

The idea that the Book of Mormon is another revelation of Jesus' life and teachings is, well, silly. Then again, it's no sillier than the Bible itself.

Moses got the word from a burning bush, Smith got the word from a talking hat. I guess they are not that much different.

If anyone ever tries to indoctrinate me into their religion posthumously, I will absolutely haunt them for the rest of their lives.

Don't know much about their religion. I've known some members and I agree that there are some decent people in it.

Fine people but the caffeine addict in me distrusts them and gets edgy in their presence.
