Okay. So the other day I was walking at a mall near town, and I was at the area where all the hip stores were at. So I saw this really cool girl working at a store, but sadly that store only sells stuff for girls so I can't enter to "check the waters". I'm really into her, and I want to get to know her and get her number and stuff, alas there are a few problems.
1. She's really good looking, and I'm pretty blah. Plus, due to me frequently pigging out late at night, I'm really putting on some weight.
2. I'm 16, and I have a feeeling she's like 17 or 18.
3. I think she's working there part-time, and she might not be working there when school starts, which I think is soon. So it's now or never.
4. To speak the truth, I lack the self-confidence and courage to get her number.
What should I do? In a real dilemma right now. Should I go on ahead and try, or should I just let it go.
If I should go forth, what should I do and how should I do it?

ok just try, start with a nice and friendly hello and then tell her why you are there, tell her that you saw her and she caught your eye, and let the conversation flow... its better when you go straight and you try to be honest.

Be honest and not shy. Say "hello" and everything will come to you right away when you are like in a normal comversation.

just walk up to her nd give her a compliment.. NOT A LINE!!!
and chances are.. if she turns you down.. it's not cause you're not her type.. you're too young for her.. no offense.. but most girls i know wouldnt' go for younger guys...
