Sounds like you have a great friend there!
enjoy the friendship, and leave it there.
Friends are a very special thing, it's okay to just be friends, ya know!
Since he doesn't want a commitment/relationship, he shouldn't mind if you develop a relationship elsewhere, and remain as platonic friends with him. Best of both worlds!

Respect his wishes as he isn't ready to make a commitment. Slow down here woman. Just cause you talked on the phone doesn't mean that you are a steady item. Sure he has an ear and listens to your probs. but he is staying clear of all the repercussions . He is lending an ear but not his heart. He isn't ready to be a boyfriend. Just be a friend now and maybe later on something might happen. Dont push. or you might see a shove on his part.

You cannot make anyone commit to you if they really don't want to. So you go out there and find the right guy for you, I mean. come on, Is he the only dude on this planet? If he wont even go on a date with you, then why are you wasting your time?
Stay single too, do not put your eggs in one basket and try to meet as many other people as you can. It will happen for you, I assure you, spread your nets wide and far!
Good luck

first find out what he is like. Does he value money --not having money for himself more than being with you.
Because he might have personal issues for not wanting to spend time with you.
