I think Jesus was near when I was a kid. I would talk to him and I would always feel like he was with me and listened to me. I have had unusual experiences when I was a kid. Do any of you have these kind of experiences? Or supernatural experiences that you had as a kid?

Oh yes. That's what is referred to as our 'first love', I always as God to take me back to that. I think that's why the Bible says we have to be as children because only then can we experience that again! God Bless You and your family!

I distinctly remember feeling conviction for the first time when I was a child of about 9yrs old, and asked my mother about what happens to us after we die. Well, being a catholic and all, she told me a fairy tale story about how everybody will go to heaven and be just like angels; but even then I knew that it just wasn't right. And so started my quest for the truth!

Every time I go into a Catholic church I believe that I am in the presence of God and I am filled with awe & serenity. And I feel he is with me to comfort me whenever I am suffering.
