What do you think of this quote?

I don't think this quote will ever inspire me in any way.

Actually, I sort of disagree with the quote, and probably would were I an atheist.

Religion is for morons, mentally weak, the brilliant and the educated alike. Just as is atheism. There are morons aplenty who do not believe in a God.

The difference between atheists and religious is simply their point of view. There is no quantifiable evidence to substantiate either viewpoint. Were there, it would be possible to show mathematically or logically a proof that one viewpoint or the other was patently false. That evidence does not exist and therefore neither position can be shown ultimately superior.

While proof may exist that God is not necessary for the creation of the solar system, that evolution may be contrary to the first part of the book of Genesis, or that some of the prohibitions in the Bible are non-sensical today, this is only contradiction to portions of the Bible, and do not negate the possibility of deity as a whole.

A thousand years ago, the concept of a germ was fantasy; how could something unseen cause illness? Things change with knowledge. Perhaps someday there will be proof that there is no God. Then again, a God might be shown to have been necessary. Possibly we might find that human spirits create the supernatural. Someone might come back with verifiable proof of a past life memory (some have shown quite stunning substantiation, but it hasn't yet received scientific verification).

In any event, none of us can have absolute proof for any of our viewpoints. Calling others morons for not believing the way we do is blatant hubris.

Religion has nothing to do with God Or Gods or the rules of man. None of it has anything to do with God. Its all just bullshit using the rules that don't describe God to prove that God does not exist is Bullshit too.
God is above and beyond our lobed brains.
God has nothing to do with religion.
Mentally weak people think they are God they don't expand the part of them that is part of the whole. They rely on themselves convinced they are themselves the alpha and the omega and then they invent toxic wast toxic air and toxic food. Nuclear weapons and napalm. All inventions of people who were above the rest of the world. People who would call other humans morons. People who like atheists like Hitler euthanized the retarded and atheist like Stalin who sent them to Gulags to Die.
How many million's of people were murdered in the last century convinced they had the authority to declare other humans morons.
What are YOU? that's what I think you need to be concerned with because you might have a fancy argument But what in fact is doing the talking.
