Fido is suppose to be a fish. the broken pieces of glass should be the pieces of the broken fish tank and the water on the floor is the water in the fish tank. Because the air blowed very forcefully it on the curtains , the curtains pushed down the fish tank and fido came out of the water and fell on the floor and fido died.

ok fido opened an umbrella outside cause it was raining. a strong wind blew, and the air pressure under the umbrella threw fido upward through a near by window he dies because fido slit his/her rist on some broken glass.the water on the floor was because fido was wet because it was raining out side.

somebody outside had threw a water bottle then it hitted the glass and hitted the fido and made it die.

fido is a fish and the fish bowl he was in got knocked over, breaking the bowl and spilling the water

thats easy. the wind blew over his fish bowl....and it broke into pieces and also the glass from the window that broke and that's why the wind is blowing in.
