I feel for you, dear... the holiday season can be depressing, and even if that is not what is getting you down, trust me, I know life can just suck sometimes. Perhaps it would help you to examine why you are sad -- do you miss someone, or feel guilty for something, or is it sort of an empty depression? I hope that you feel much better soon, and if you think that it would help, you should talk to a counselor. Even if you decide that that is not what you want to do, try just going up to your family or friends and giving them a great big hug... I know that when I felt super down last year that was pretty much the best thing ever. Also, if you are religious, pray about it. That should help too. God bless hun.

Why don't you call some friends and plan something with them for this weekend? Rearrange a room and give it a new look. Try a new recipe and share it with someone. Get a good book and curl up to read it. Go to a pet store and play with the animals. Take some small gifts to people in a rest home. Put on some uplifting music. Call your loved ones and tell them you love them. Write a letter to someone. Watch an uplifting or comedy movie. Go play with some children you know. Make a list of goals and start on one. BE BUSY - BE HAPPY! Merry Christmas, and don't let anything get you down!

Well why are you feeling sad? What has turned your day upside down and are you ready to change this feeling around? I have some funny emails that will brighten your evening! Sadness is something that can be changed. This is a state. It's not a trait unless its enduring and that would mean you are depressed. Is your sadness a constant thing?

I have only been sad a couple times in my life and it was a very odd feeling. I do not think it is good to be sad. Keep things interesting and do not expect so much or be let down.

You should talk to some one close to you. Maybe come up with a creative outlet for that sadness. Like writing or painting or even some sport (running?). Maybe go see a movie or listen to your favorite band.
drink hot tea! I recommend chamomile =)

hope you feel better soon. things will get better!

That´s pretty bad you feel sad... but let me tell you that in this life you will always find good and bad things. Try to keep the best of every experience.. think, read, search, try to full your life with good thoughts and try to find some good friends and keep your family close.
I hope you feel better :D

I don't know why you sad but even if you don't have anything you like, at least you should be happy with your health. You can still go to this page and write something to the world. i mean you are not in hospital bed but in home bed. It is also amazing. dont you think?

I understand how you feel. I get like that sometimes too... :) Find something that you can do for yourself to make you feel good (watch a good tv show, curl up for a nap, take a run, buy yourself a present, call a friend...) That sometimes helps make me feel less lonesome.
