Your opinion and mine don't matter. The Supreme Court needs to weigh in, and I hope they do.

I think it SHOULDN'T be unconstitutional, but I think it shouldn't be unconstitutional to deny education to those not here legally, as well. If they shouldn't be here, they should be sought out and deported, not given benefits. Otherwise our laws aren't going to be followed.

However, I am not sure what the court will say, and I do wonder if people legally here might get caught up in those laws. I would have a problem with that.

PS, Happy Holidays, hayleylov!

The Government will side with the business interests unless and until the people make a big enough stink. I can see a march on Washington in the not too distant future and I don't think it is going to be orderly. The politicians in this country are interested only in their party and money. They need a wake up call. Write or call your congressman this week or stop complaining. Get involved now!

What part of "illegal" do people have such a hard time understanding?!?!

The reason the apartment complexes are suing is because it means that they'll lose the income that they have been making through illegal practices.

My heart just bleeds.

I believe it is constitutional, and I really don't think a mexican can sue. Hell, they have no rights in this country at all!
