My perspective of life on earth is all about the treatment you provide yourself- in all aspects-mentally/physically.emotionally, others around you, and other THINGS around you. Of course, the art of impermenance is the principle of my practice but my beliefs are a philosophy more than a religion. Anyone else feel this way? If so, do you also believe you can never call yourself a buddhist but one that practices inner peace leading to world peace?

It's almost like an evolving belief system and being able to let go of things your heart no longer knows is true and be open to new possibilities. So you can't have a religion because many religions are tied to stuff a guy said hundreds of years ago, and once you deviate away from that (and Prophets typically say that their way is the only absolute way), so you are no longer a part of that religion.
