I hadn't had a perm since May because i'm trying to go natural. I get my hair washed and pressed every week and a half to two weeks. But after a few days, my scalp starts to get dry and beginst to shed in my comb.

I was a stylist for 13 years and my advice is to use an aveda product called Scalp Treatment, anti-dandruff tonic. It can be used up to every other day and doesn't need to be rinsed. It will keep your scalp healthy between washes. Also it is normal to loose 80-100 hairs a day, so when you don't brush it for a few days, it will seem like you're shedding more. It also has to do with the time of year and what growth cycle your hair is in. (just like a flower it grows, sheds, and lies dormant)
I hope this helps!

I get my hair pressed every 2-3 weeks. I use Dudley scalp oil and tea tree polish to make my hair shine. I also have the beautician to mix the conditioner up with raw eggs and let it sit on my hair for 15 minutes. I got this remedy from an old lady who started pressing my hair when I was 10. Eggs grow your hair. My niece's hair wouldn't grow, so I started washing her hair every 2 weeks with eggs. In about 2 years, her hair is almost past mine. It is very thick and down her back and she is only 8.

first off since you relaxed your hair chemically your hair is really fragile and pressing it every other week is only worsining your condition
when you relax your hair it becomes very weak more than bleaching it every person has a cuticle layer on their hair and by bleaching or relaxing it this causes it to open up and become weaker and whena person has relaxed their hair it generally falls out which is why they usually dont put dye or bleach in same rule applies with pressing you should use less pressure and heat because your hair is prone to breakage
my advice cut down on the pressing and try going natural for one to two weeks in between pressing this should reduce breakage

If you aren't greasing your scalp do so. "Baby Dont Be Bald" is a good brand, its about $7 a jar If you are, try sleeping with a silk scarf or silk pillow case.

well for the breakage, try cutting your hair often. since you're growing it out, you can cut as much as you want. this will curb the breakage. i keep my hair trimmed all the time. the comb goes right through and there is no breakage.

One more time, Vitamin B8 or Inositol is responsible for hair retention.

maybe you could like not shampoo as often, and if that's a problem, you could use a gentle type like dove that doesn't remove your hair's oils.and wherever you get your hair done ask if they can use maybe a shampoo like that.
