There is the Kabbalah of rabbis such as David Aaron and others.

There is thenew age kabbalah of Ted Andrews and others, If you mention the path of the flaming sword to real kabbalists; they would laugh at you

There is the Occult verrsion of the kabbalah practised by Dion Fortune, Aleister Crowley, and others.

I have not been a mason; so I can not offer a credible opinion about that part of your question.

I am not an expert in aether one but i believe there is. First we have to establish that Jewish Cabala as we know it today does not go back beyond the 13 century, tho it is based on oldest Jewish believes who's origins are almost lost in the sands of time. Cabala is universal, so we have many cabala. Jewish use they own alphabet others use different means to present the same ideas. Many traditions in a more or less modified versions have been added to different Masonic degree with the Cabala been one of them, and each one of this traditions can be trace to Jewish ideas and believes found in the Cabala. Many believes the Masonic organization go back as far as the construction of Salomon's Temple, but it present form was established in 1717 on June 24 Saint John's day. They both talk paradoxically about the same ideas but in a different way. One speaks about the creation of the world and the other about the reconstruction of Salomon's Temple. But the real subject is the reorganization of the intellect and spirit of the living soul at the present sphere. One uses the Jewish alphabet and the other mason symbols but the ideas, ideals and steps in the proses are the same. Some other organizations not in a direct relation but parallel to Free Masons, like wise considered Cabala a more or less mandatory study to master some mysteries related to human life and the universe.

As I am not that familiar with either one - just a smattering of ideas about what they are, I can only think of one correlation: In both cases, people who really have no knowledge of them, speak very forcefully and assuredly of secret plots fomented by one of those movements or the other.
"Of course, you know every single political leader in the past (2, 3, 4) centuries is a freemason." And to back that up, names are named, as if that makes it any more credible. A lot of silly urban legend spread about both movements.
