You will continue to have some oozing until tomorrow that is completely normal. When it mixes with your saliva it can look like a lot more blood than it is. Are you making sure the gauze is damp before you are biting on it? the same with the tea bag? expect that you will wake up with blood on your pillow, this is all normal. The best is to just keep some pressure on it like you are doing and expect some bleeding. good luck

As i recall the tannins in the tea bag help with the clotting. Whether you use teabags or gauze they should be moistened before inserting into the mouth as this helps prevent the clot from sticking to the gauze, and thus being removed along with the gauze.

I had 3 pulled and a little bleeding is normal. Hopefully you do not smoke. Keep gause in it. I never heard of a tea bag for this!! If it is still bleeding by morning I would call the Dr. You may not be able to clot blood for some reason. I would worry if it heavy bleeding.

The socket needs to form a clot so avoid regular mouthwashes.... dont keep dislodging the packing - leave it in place for as long as possible, avoid "drawing" (creating suction) on the socket, avoid hot drinks for a while and try to keep prolonged pressure on the area.

This can happen when you have had a wisdom tooth extracted. My advice would be to ring your dentist immediately but I do think it is a bizarre suggestion that you should use a teabag! If you get no help from your dentist please call your GP.

I used to drink milk, as that makes the blood thicker to coagulate and stop bleeding. also you should be using a rinse every hour or so, so you can avoid an infection.

Did you drink with a straw?
It sounds like you pulled out the clot.

it is probably just oozing a little bit and its the saliva that is making it worse..if you keep messing with it then a proper clot cannot form..just leave it alone and it willl be ok...and yes sutures are normal..i am a dental nurse bu the way..

put some ice or something cold on the area, you can actually nibble some ice to stop bleeding..because cold helps in blood coagulation.
