I know some one that has private photos that a person would have to request to see; but it is posted on his profile that he has private photos........why?

Physical attraction is a real part of a relationship. There may be absolutely nothing wrong with you - except this particular man isn't that interested - people have the right to their own tastes. Perhaps exchange photos at the beginning next time - before you get too involved so you also can decide if the other person it ' to your taste'.

If I understand correctly you mean he has the words private photos available on his profile but not the actual pictures
well thats simple he doesn't want the world to see his private pictures but is willing to show people who ask to view them if he thinks they are worthy to view them or the person is attractive and thinks he has a shot with them if they like his pictures
If I'm wrong and he has the private photos actually on his profile he really wants to have relations not a relationship and thinks showing those pictures will help him get lucky

A man who is boasting about having "private photos" for viewing is immature and narcissistic. He is baiting people who are curious like you are.
The private photo collection offered for the public to see is exhibitionist behavior. This person wants to be in the limelight and is not aware that this kind of offer does not appeal to people with sense and good taste.
Avoid this person and all men like him! They tend to be crude slimeballs.

he obviously doesn't want everyone to see them but he's does want people to see them and he wants it like that so then he can decide who it is that views them :) :) :)
