I read that a fruit is a useful diet tool in lowering cholesterol . Given that blueberries whole , would have roughage and nutrients are they the best fruit to manage and lower cholesterol ? Which is the very best fruit for that task . The optimum fruit ?

You need lots of fruits and vegetables. They have plant sterols that block the absorption of bad cholesterol. See page below for help in eating a healthier diet.The saturated fats in animal products increase cholesterol. Asking which fruit to eat is like asking which foot you should wash when taking a shower.

There is no food that will lower cholesterol. Most cholesterol is made by the liver, not taken in the form of food.
Read the book The Cholesterol Cure for information on natural supplements that will lower it.

There are a number of fruits that are beneficial, and blueberries are one of them. Cranberries are another. I won't go so far as to say a particular fruit is the best, though.
