Lubbed is oil down in case you partner is not wet enough and has an easy glide in.....Ribbed is textured to cause suction in intercourse,makes it easier for her reach her "peak". Not using one feels best but to be safer than sorry ,I would go with ribbed...for her pleasure!!!!!!!!!!
