I heard a preacher on the radio today say that Jesus was an "already formed embryo" when implanted into Mary, which would make Mary a surrogate. I guess I have always believed that Mary was His biological mother.

What say you?

Though His conception was supernatural, Jesus' birth was that of a normal child born of a human mother (Matt 1:18). He is spoken of as being born of the seed of the woman (Gen 3:15) and of the seed of Abraham (Heb 2:16, KJV). In this way, through the virgin birth, "the Word became flesh" (John 1:14). Jesus, as a normal child, grew physically and mentally: "And the child grew and became strong; He was filled with wisdom, and the grace of God was upon Him" (Luke 2:40).

This is known as the hypostatic union. (See link)

Yes Mary is Jesus's biological mother. When the Holy Spirit of God passed over her, she became pregnant like any other woman, just a different way of the impregnation.

Yes, Jesus was both fully man and fully God. It is also prophesied that he would be born of the line of david. If he werent actually part marys child, this would not be possible or true.

despite if he have been conceived parthenogenetically, Mary might nonetheless be his organic and organic mom. What you ought to ask is that if God replaced into Jesus' organic and organic father or his thought replaced into the end results of a marginally greater incredible miracle. it quite is a piece of writing of religion of all Christian religions (no longer in basic terms people who think of they are the only Christians there are) that God did no longer have intercourse with Mary, that she replaced right into a virgin till after her month of purification for childbirth. people have found out a thank you to end such issues, and that i do no longer think of that God is on the back of the class, so people could have faith what they choose approximately Jesus' foundation. it quite is quite none of our company, regardless of each and every thing, and it suffices us to understand that Jesus replaced into the son of God in a manner that applies to no person else. word that Jesus consistently claimed that he replaced into no longer God, in basic terms YHWH: the son of El, to whom he cried out on the go. As to Mary being a surrogate mom, word the prophecy that a youthful woman (or virgin) might conceive. That makes it sound like it replaced into her own ovum, yet of direction people did no longer understand approximately such issues back then.
