I'm not exactly sure, but I believe that the Americas were in existance, just not discovered by the old world yet.

Jesus was referring to the preaching that his followers would accomplish after his death and resurrection. Jesus began the work by preaching throughout Judea. The apostles and other first-century Christians continued that work to the point that they spread their message throughout "all creation under heaven," or the known world at that time.
As a sign of the last days, Jesus predicted what would become a global preaching work, where Christians would spread the good news of the kingdom wherever there were people. This message would not be general talk about Jesus, belief, and prosperity. It would not be mixed with politics. It would not be commercialized in books or movies, and it certainly would not make anyone rich. ("You received free, give free," said Jesus at Matthew 10:8.) There is ample evidence that, despite the misuse of Christianity to justify everything from wars to greed, this good news of the kingdom is being preached today.

The final judgment. This verse is not talking about any nations in particular. It is talking about all of mankind. Matthew 24:13 reads "But he that shall persevere to the end, he shall be saved." This means that all who followed the word of the gospels and were not fooled by false prophets, regardless of nationality, will be admitted into heaven during the Second Coming.

Those places did exist, just not in the form that we know them as. The mayans were a large portion of the population of south america. And He still wanted those people to be preached to. His desire is that every living person hear the gospel and have a chance to be saved and go to Heaven when they die.

Consider the internet. Has it availed itself to the spread of information more quickly to all the world? When every last person on earth know about the "Good News", even through the Internet, then the beginning of the end of the world (the 70th week of Daniel) will commence.

Christ is teaching about the end times, signs.
Mat 24:3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

First of all the ancient people of North and South America may take issue with your assertion that where they lived did not exist. And what was meant by that is this. The word is for all, not just Jews.

But He knew the same pattern would play out in all generations.
So it's one of the signs of things that happen at the end of a generation of people

That is what a lot of missionaries believe. They believe that once everyone has heard the message that Jesus will return. I think it sounds about right. God doesn't want just some of us , He wants us all in heaven with Him.
