I'm basically dead...I'm going to die in about a month my cancer is at stage 4, but I really want my friends and family to know how muched I loved them.
I'm only 17, so I can't do anything big, just any ideas? Cards, scrapbooks etc. of how I can have them remember me?

I reallly wish to get serious answers because I think this is not funny at all.
Thank - you.

Write each one of them a letter talking about your favorite experiences with them and the memories you have.

Make a video message for each person of your family and friends. Then make a scrapbook with each page having a different object describing them. I'm so sorry, you never really got to even experience life yet.

Just tresure every moment you can with your family. Take alot of pictures, you could make a scapbook or life video. Do something with your family that thye will remeber if it would be like getting the whole family together and volunteering at a shelter. Have a family reunion. Just something to get everyone together and share your thoughts and memorys with them.

Try picking out an object or something you own for each of them, something specific for each person that would have special meaning to that person, something that would remind them of you and the good times you had together.... i'm very sorry to hear this about you, i wish you the best~!!!!!

First of all.....let me say how strong you must be in order to be able to come to terms with your illness at such a young age.

Second of all.....they will never forget you ...I am sure they know how much you love them without you even having to say something or make something.

It is a testament to who you are, here you are dying and you are still trying to do for others ....That is love.

Give them this poem...so every time they read it...they will think of you:

She is gone from our sight...

But never our memory...

She is gone from our hearing....

But never our Hearts ....

She is gone from our touch ....

But her presence is still felt ....

And the love that she gave us will never depart.....

No words can express how on one hand I am saddened by your departure....yet it also gives me a strength...to see you dealing with death at such a young age hurts my heart.

You must be a special person.....and I will pray for you and your family.....

I do not know what else to say except I hope you find peace.

Its horrible to hear of someone with cancer, it's affected so many of those close to me. the best thing you can do for any of them is to let them see you enjoying your time left.

as far as thanking them for being supportive, very little could mean more than just talking to them one on one and flat out telling them how much they meant to you.

perhaps choose one item of yours that reminds you specifically of a good memory of each family member and ask them to keep it for you.

Your not in a hospital? I think the ideas you have already are much better than any I know of. Matter of fact, they are perfect. That is exactly what you need to do. Pretty smart of you.

OF COURSE THIS IS NOT A FUNNY MATTER. I TRULY AM SORRY AND PRAY THAT GOD BE WITH YOU. MY MOTHER DIED IN 2005 OF LUNG CANCER. I SPENT TIME WITH HER AT THE HOSPITAL AS SHE WAS DYING, AS ALL HER KIDS DID. SHE TOLD US HOW MUCH SHE LOVED US IN HER OWN WORDS. I THINK ITS BEST OUT LOUD. IT MEANS MORE THAT WAY. SHE ALSO TOLD US THAT AFTER SHE DIED, THAT WHENEVER WE SAW A BUTTERFLY, THAT WE SHOULD THINK OF HER BEING THERE WITH US. I STILL DO. SHE LOVED BUTTERFLIES!! FIND YOUR OWN WAY, BUT SAY IT INSTEAD OF WRITING IT OR SOME OTHER WAY.
