The book advises women that:
If you have to ask the guy out he's not that into you
Guys are never scared of their feelings
Guys are never really afraid to pursue a relationship with a girl who's a friend because it would ruin the friendship it's just an excuse they use
If he's not calling you he's not into you
Guys do not have a problem expressing their feelings if their with the right girl.
Etc, etc, etc

My coworkers think this might apply to guys in New York or L.A. but they don't think it applies to most guys outside of those areas. Several of my married friends say they asked their eventual husband out first and that guys like that. They also say guys do have a hard time expressing their feelings.

So guys, does the book apply to you? Are the things listed above right for you?

NO NO NO! It is NOT trustworthy! Some truth mixed with very damaging lies is extremely toxic! We do have a hard time expressing our feelings sometimes, but the tragedy of that book is that it tells women to force men to do all the pursuing. How is a man supposed to feel loved if he has to chase you down every time he wants a little attention? Sometimes we just don't KNOW if we have a chance with women -- and some guys (not me per se, but probably the majority) will not make a move unless there's a real reason to believe that there's hope. And you shouldn't give up on a guy if all he's done is not call you in a few days. Good night!

Those relationship self-help books are flat-out wrong. Quit wasting your money.
