If evolution is true, why are there seeds?
Why do the largest seeds produce the smallest fruit and smalest seeds produce the largest fruit?
If you say evolution had to provide a way to feed life?Evolution is a theory;kind of an inanimate thing, and to say evolution had to do this that and other thing; your giving evolution a living and intelligent quality wich can't be true;cause evolution it's self is not alive.Which makes more sense? It just evolved or a creator knew to provide sustinance for the life He created?
Would it not make sense that bigger fruit should have bigger seed? And vise versa? But it's not like that. Why?
Mustard seed is the smallest seed, yet it produces a large tree, watermelons are a big fruit but also have small seeds.Peaches are a small fruit but have big seeds.Apples and oranges are descent sized, but they also have some small seeds.
Is it just me,or is there something wrong with evolution?

There is something wrong with evolution! God created all things and everything is just as he made it.

Fruit evolved to entice animals to consume seeds which they would later distribute along with fertilizer. At first, the animal only ate seeds and a few passed through. Tougher seeds evolved from those that passed through. The trick is there had been walked away from the parent plant. Fruit adds to the fitness of the plant, by creating an animal link for seed distribution.

What does seed size have to do with evolution OR creation?
It is only natural that fruit which grows on trees would have larger seeds than plant which grow close to the ground because they need more protection and a longer time to grow. And by the way mustard plants are not trees. You are completely off in space on this one.

The Mustard seed is not the smallest seed.
I am no scientist, but I think it stems from R and K strategy. Small seeds are like bugs, the blitzkrieg life, many will die, and some will live. Large seeds are more rare [as they take up more space] but they approach life slower and steadier. Put this in plant terms, and it makes sense. And we never had to touch evolution to do this.

1. Many fruits have been engineered by humans to have smaller or fewer seeds.
2. Even if they were not, I see nothing about the size of a seed compared to the size of the fruit that would disprove evolution.
Evolution is not about making "sense" per se... it's about traits that are advantageous to the survival of the organism and traits that are not, and natural selection selecting the stronger traits, and deleting the bad traits.
Incidentally, this question makes more sense when turned around - if God is such a good creator, why do we have body parts we no longer need, weak knee joints, wisdom teeth that are not needed and often just cause problems, and so on...?

The size of a seed and the size of the fruit that grows from it has nothing to do with the theory of evolution.

I don't understand this. Why would it make more sense? You say it like it's obvious, but it's not.

Seeds are involved in reproduction, not evolution. Evolution occurs once seeds are fertilized and as seeds are produced by sex cells.
Seeds only contain genetic information, size isn't really relevant, since the genes are microscopic. Each plant adapts and it's seeds are a certain size for various reasons that worked.
Evolution is a random thing, occurring by random chance over millions of years.
It sounds like you need to read more on the subject.

No it's not just you, have you ever heard of anything that changed it's own evolution as much? If you took a yardstick and stretched it from earth to the outskirts of the universe representing the force of gravity, just by moving it to the right or left just one inch would through it out of whack. How lucky would any non-intelligent thing have to be(not counting all the other wonders).

I don't even get your argument. It has absolutely nothing to do with evolution.
It is just questioning botanical facts. And that would be the same no matter how they got there. Thanks for playing.

I suppose God Theory makes sense to you. GOD THEORY - The accumulated myths and superstitions of your ancestors which have been dogmatized, institutionalized and then mounded into the colossal pile of crap they call ultimate truth.
