Tthe best way to get them to share is the way that is very difficult to use around most other parents. Most parents believe in forcing kids to say sorry and forcing kids to share. The harder, slower, more embarassing for mom and better for the kids way is to model sharing, model saying sorry, talk about how important they are, but let your child share when they are ready and what they are ready to share.
If you can't go this far, be sure, before a playgroup or other gathering of friends at your house, to help your child choose what they want to share and if there's anything special they want to put up before people arrive.

WIth saying sorry, if you force a child to say it, it's meaningless. We've seen this over and over, how kids blurt out a half-hearted or even angry "sorry" when forced. Better to teach what you expect, teach how people act, and say you're sorry yourself, in front of your child, whenever you can. Talk about how when you accidentally hurt someone's feelings or body, you apologize or about how nice it is to share with people. But, most important, be generous and polite yourself and your child will follow in your footsteps.

Well you can take it completely from them so if they can't share no one can have it.
