I've met so many spoilt rude children in the past, as well as very unresponsible parents. I think maybe that BOTH parents, should pass some sort of test, or maybe obtain a license before they even think of having children! Or even better, the age people can have children!
We have to pay bloody taxes to the government here, only to be spent as benefits on pathetic useless young couples who aren't even bothered enough to find proper jobs!
What do you think though?

I agree with you! It's amazing how much harder it is to get a driver's license than to get pregnant. I am so sick of little sh*ts running around and being rude or breaking things in stores it is unbelievable. I agree with you 100%.

AMEN! I think that people should have to take a test or pay for a liecense or something to have kids too b/c we have to do it to drive a car... to get married... and in a way, to get divorced. I don't think that people should hvae to pay for the benefit of the government though bc that could cause bad blood and abuse of the system, but I think at minimum social services should step in more quickly and be more effective. Realistically, I've thought about this a lot and pondered how could this be possible with a way to enforce it. I mean, really, its not realistic to pass a test before having kids bc... well, you know, you've probably heard it before-- it JUST HAPPENS. but, what about in the hospital? Parents are required to spend a week or so in the hospital going through classes and passing a test before the baby can go home? what do oyou think!? I might be on to something!!

Even if people didn't get a "license" to have babies, do you really think it would stop them from having sex and the babies that come from it? You're right that most people don't deserve to be parents and some who would be great parents never are, but I can't see how you can regulate it. They could teach more responsibility in high school about how to parent and how/why not to get pregnant until you are in a situation where you are mature and financially able to be a good one. Most kids don't listen though.

its hard not to agree and its hard to agree. our country if founded on freedom afterall. however my own personal experience i feel that unfit mothers should be fixed so that they can not continue to produce children that will be neglected or abused, for example my cousin has four children and is unfit, all of her children live with a different member of my family, she's pregnant again and we'er all wondering who will get this next baby to raise. the state should step in and fix her so she can't have any more children. other then that if someone is going to take care of their own child, do right by them, i can't really agree.. 14 year old girls shouldn't be having sex let alone babies but they've proven we can't stop them. trying to make people get a licene to have children wouldn't go over because you can't stop people from having unprotected sex.

We could solve this problem if we offered to every mother on public assistance one thousand dollars in cash to get "fixed", plus we'd pay for the operation. In the long run it would be a whole lot cheaper. But as a society, we don't have the guts to do something that makes that much common sense.

In theory, it's a good thought.
In practice, it'll be impossible to do because you can't keep track on how many people are having sex every second, thus you can't really keep track who are making children.

Plus, if you enforced this, many more abortion will be practiced, and there are pro-life group that will strongly disagree to this.

But the main thing is, you can't really prevent people from having sex and 'accidentally' make babies.

PRAISE YOU GIRL!!! definitely, there are a lot of people out there not fit to be parents. Definitely should be a license, test, required parenting class, fee, proof of employment and very bureaucratic and onerous process.

Who is to bell the cat?
Who decides who is rude and who is not?
And, to legislate it? Baaah.......humbug.
Government has no business in the bedrooms of the nation.

This is a democratic nation........(Thank God for that). If we are the benevolent dictatorship, then we have to live in a police state. They tell you when and when not to have sex. Who should have sex. Can you imagine? Where does it stop?

We have to pay for such freedom. Pay - is what I call tax. That's the evil that we have to live with. There is no other solution unless we are communists. What we live in is better of the two evils.
