I have seen a listing several times that give all these "weird" similarities between Presidents Lincoln and Kennedy. They where elected in '60. Both have 7 letters in their last name. Both have vice-presidents named Johnson who followed them. But were involved in wars...etc. If you only look at the list, it could make them appears to be similar. But if you actually study the details of their lives, the differences far outweigh the short list of similarities.
The same is true of Krishna and Jesus. There are some similarities. But they are far outweighed by the differences. The texts say the Jesus was virgin born. Krishna was not - normal parents. After Jesus' birth, Herod killed dozens of children hoping to get Jesus. In Krishna's case, Kamsa had killed each of the children of Krishna's parents before he was born. Not very similar.
Unlike Jesus, Krishna is reported to have performed miracles throughout his childhood, including numerous battles with demons sent to slay him. Jesus performed no miracles until he was in his thirties, according to the texts. His "battles" with demons were not to save himself, but to free others by casting them out.
Krishna was raised as a cow-herder. Jesus was raised as a carpenter.
Krishna was a warrior, conquered a kingdom and slew his uncle, the king. Joined in other wars and battles. Jesus was never a warrior, never in a battle or took a human life according to the texts.
Krishna had over 16,000 wives, kept slaves, and was wealthy. The text mentions no wives for Jesus, he never enslaved another person or had no money or possessions beyond the minimum need to survive.
Following a civil in war in which Krishna exterminated the majority of the people in his kingdom, he fled into a woods, where he was mistaken by a hunter for a deer, shoot through the foot with a arrow, and mortally wounded. When he was told that the wounding was because he had been cursed by a woman whose one hundred sons he had slain, the text say that Krishna smiled and said that he was not there to prevent wars, but to fight on the right side and that even through he was God he was not powerful enough to stop violence or destruction. Then he died. There is no mention in the texts of any resurrection for Krishna.
Jesus, following three and a half years of miracles and teaching, was arrested by his enemies and crucified. According to the text, while his death was happening, he said that his life was being given as a ransom to save others, and ask forgiveness for those who were killing him. According to the text, he also rose again from the dead.
Those are just differences in the known details of their lives. If you actually begin to compare the teachings of the two men, you will find that they vary even further then their lives and lifestyles did. Having studied the text of both, there are no similarities between the lives and teachings of the Jesus and Krishna.
