Easter would certainly be the more religious day, I would think.

And what's with the birthday? Do they celebrate Muhammad, or Sidhartha Buddah, or Krishna's birthday?

you're right, Easter should be more important than Christmas 'cause of the fact that He lay down His life for us and rose from dead on 3rd day. We, Assyrian Christians, think that way 2. We call Easter, the big holiday and Christmas, the small holiday.

Certainly you have a point! :) Christ's birth, death, and resurrection are all very important events in the history of mankind. Probably the bigger deal is made over Christmas because just about everyone celebrates it either religously or commerically (more Santa than Christ) whereas Easter is celebrated more by Christians that claim the name of Christ and the rest of the world just isn't as excited about Easter commercially (more Bunny than Christ)....

And as far as celebrating the other birthdays....well we've been celebrating Christmas since the country was founded but these are all newer faiths (to us) so their special days haven't caught on like the Jewish and Christian days have - historically speaking. Also another BIG difference is that Christ claimed to be God's Son whereas everyone else you've listed and more only claim to be prophets of God or of another force - so celebrating God's Son's birthday would be a bigger deal than celebrating any old prophet's birthday no matter how you look at it! :)

And even though we don't know the exact date of Christ's birth - it is a fun holiday and an important event to remember as is His death and resurrection also.

It's a bigger deal because, as prophesied (Matthew 24: 5; 1 Timothy 4:1-3; 2 Timothy 4: 3, 4; Acts 20: 29, 30 for example), after the apostles died there would be a falling away from the truth. As the organization spread and increased in size, eventually becoming the Catholic Church, they began adopting ideas and holidays from Greek philosophy and pagan religions. As one person pointed out, Jesus' birth date is not known. So the Church adopted a pagan holiday--December 25th--and called it Jesus' birthday. No one knew any better! The Catholic Encyclopedia admits as such. But the main reason it's bigger than Easter is commercialism.

Jesus's birthday is more celebrated than easter because it is a time when families and friends gather to celebrate and talk about the birth of Jesus Christ and most ppl,for easter, only go around hunting eggs

It seems like going to church on Easter is a bigger deal to Christians then going on Christmas, at least with the ones I know. Celebrating it religiously, like you say, means worshiping/going to church, so it could be seen the other way around.

its not necessarily, but probably to some people. More people celebrate christmas because now its overused and people just celebrate it to celebrate and get presents. the birth of jesus was the largest celebration ever, but god also performed a wonderful miracle when rising jesus from the dead. Which do you think is more important? i would have to further research to decide. theyre both awesome

i dont think other people were as worthy/holy/right

Yes, Easter is the bigger celebration from the Christian point of view. Christmas is more of a commercial thing today.

Christmas was really a Pagan festival, Jesus's birthday is really unknown. I'm not sure if Muhammed's birthday was known either. Buddha's birthday wasn't important, as he was born a regular man, for Krishna, not sure.

They are equally important to all followers of God's. His birth because that is when He entered the world, born as a baby to a virgin. His death and resurrection because that is when He took the sins of all the world upon His shoulders and then He resurrected to give us the gift of eternal life thru the gift of salvation. Both days are very important.
