I've gone to places to eat, and people leave their crud on the table. I get some wet paper towels and start cleaning it up. Especially in the women's restroom the women are so slovenly! At times I am so disgusted that I start throwing the paper towels away and wipe down the counters. What do you do?

I was taught to clean after yourself, because no one else should.

I certainly do not go around cleaning public toilets. I will at times report to the management that the bathroom is in an unacceptable condition.

I'd like to know the answer to that also. Do you ever notice going over to friends houses or anyones house its always a mess stuff thrown around out of place. I hate it. I've grown up in a family where everything is kept clean and neat. sometmies i think too clean but its nice to have a clean house and people always comment on how clean it is when you think its not. I wish more people were like that.

you must be a clean person and were raised that way. you cant change the world. unfortunately not all people were born into a clean environment. there is and will always be sloppy people out there.just ignore the sloppy ones and go on. dont worry about all the messes in life or you will miss the important things in life.smile and go on and enjoy life and be happy knowing that you arent the one making the messes.

you don't know how many times i've been in the same situation...i just can't help myself!! I can't stand to see a mess, and in a restroom of all places. i chalk it up to a genaral lack of respect, not only for the other people that have to use that facility, but also a lack of respect for *youself* to be able to leave such a mess behind you.

Not to pick on women, but they really do treat their used tampons with more respect than a ladies' room (especially if they're not going to be back there soon).

They don't want to touch ANYTHING with ANY part of their body, and don't mind any spills or trash that happens because of it.
