I HAVE REFERENCED 1 WEBSITE BELOW WHICH HAS LOTS OF INFORMATION. DEPENDING ON WHERE YOU LIVE THERE ARE FACTORIES IN DIFFERENT LOCATIONS THAT ARE CLOSE AND OTHER BRANDS THAT ARE MUCH FURTHER AWAY, SO I RECOMMEND YOU READ A LITTLE AND THEN COME BACK AND ASK THE QUESTION YOU NEED ANSWERED BUT GIVE YOUR LOCATION. I KNOW YOU DON'T WANT TO PUT LOTS OF MONEY INTO THE DELIVERY OF THE HOME. THE EXTREME CASE MIGHT BE IF YOU LIVE IN HAWAII.

I posted this answer to your other question:

You'll find 2-story homes and plans here:
http://www.allamericanhomes.com/...

This is but one of many manufacturers of such homes and is the one with which I am most familiar. They have plants in Indiana, Iowa, N. Carolina, Colorado, & Ohio and a network of builder/dealers within a 300-400 mile radius of each plant.

If you're thinking of getting a modular home, DON"T. They are substandard. They have 2x3 walls instead of 2x4, or 2x6. If something breaks, you'll most likely have to order the parts. They use 3/8" drywall instead of 1/2. THEY USE PLASTIC PIPE FOR WATERLINES with crimp connectors!~Ive done repairs on them for years. Each time I tell myself THIS IS THE LAST ONE! !
