Yet another example of how Christians simply can not think.
Christian: Look at the earth. Look at people. Something that complex and wonderful couldn't simply come into existence by chance. It must have been created....BY GOD.
Me: But who created God?
Christian: God always existed.
Me: But, isn't God more amazing than earth and humans? So if you are willing to believe that something MORE amazing than humans and the earth could exist without being created, than surely you can believe that humans and the earth didn't have to be "created".
Christians: Uh, Uh....Shut up.

Let's say that u find who created God, wouldn't you want to know who created the one who created God and so on until u go crazy. There should be a first one to create everything and he's God.

God is a spirit. That spirit is often described as love, not the sexual type but the kind that is self sacrificing and all knowing. Love existed before anything in creation and will exist long after heaven and Earth pass away.

If you are refering to the Bible with the old testament and everything, I think that this would lead to the chicken and the egg question.
I would say that he made himself first.
With science as a backup, it would mean that the little cell that converted all other cells around him to form him was more complex and more intelligent than any other cell that exist during his time. So... scientists may even be searching for another g*d.
Okay. I think I should stop before people become offended.
Great question, however.
Happy Holidays!

Don't think too hard on this one. The origin of God is beyond human comprehension.Man who has a beginning and an end cannot fathom the idea of always being in existence.

When it comes to logic, god gets a free pass. He magically always existed. Convenient, huh?
Actually, the various gods are fictional, and as such they were created by their respective authors.

God exists necessarily, not contingently. No one created him. The same can't be said of the cosmos, since everything in it is contingent.

The spleen can't understand the body.
A robot can't understand it's inventor.
How could we possibly have a hope of understanding such things with our brains?
In other words, I have no idea, and I'm willing to accept that.
