I have some ham deli meat that I bought December 12th. If it is slimy, is it okay to wash and eat it?

Okay, so I am hearing that maybe this isn't so good to eat. What if I cook it, can I eat it then?

Just get some new meat or eat something else....I personally wouldn't chance it. Especially if it was fresh, unprocessed stuff. The kind of meat that they put tons of chemicals in and which is made up of mostly water is probably okay, but I wouldn't eat that stuff to begin with, so....

ABSOLUTELY NOT, NO, NEVER.
Washing it only removes slim it does not remove bacteria and you can end up a very sick person if you do eat it. Best to wrap it up tightly throw in garbage and go to the shops and buy some fresh ham.
Merry Christmas

bear in strategies that meat is already lifeless... Refrigeration in basic terms slows down the decay technique. even no count if it is not discolored, the beef may well be breeding micro organism. i do no longer think of your wellbeing is worth risking over a 10 month old ham.
