e.g. I put some rubbish out, he's there. I walk the dog he's there, I do the garden he's there.
I thought that I was imagining it at first, but other people noticed too.
Does any one have any polite or even unpolite ways to persuade him to find a new hobby before I kill him and his mad wife. I'm prepared to break the law or hurt him so long as he gets the message.

He plays ball with his dog in the middle of the night with a flashlight, I thought it was burglars at first, he is as mad as a bag of frogs.

My ex had a similar problem with a guy across the street looking into her bedroom window.
It didn't stop her wandering around her room naked with the curtains open.
I think that secretly she liked the attention.
I wasn't with her long enough to find out how far her voyeuristic streak went though. Shame, it could have been fun...
Aaaaaanyway, enough reminiscing.
If you have facing windows, you could beg steal or borrow a telescope, put it in your window pointing at their place, and see if they react to thinking they're on the receiving end of the snooping.
Or you could try hanging around watching them, to give the same effect.
Alternatively, you could say hello when you meet him. Maybe he's just a lonely old-timer / sociopath. Even if he doesn't stop being creepy, it'd help you see him as a person, and maybe smooth over the minor acts of snooping.

Babe are you just being paranoid or his he actually watching you ? I have to be careful on here coz I keep getting violation notices for swearing. I forget there are very young people on here as well as the adults. Why dont you just ask him what the problem is? he may just be trying to be friendly with you. I notice by your pic and assume you are colourd, is it this that is bothering him. Just talk nice to him and try to find out what the prob is. If that dont work just tell him you will give him a pic to look at instead of coming out of the door and watching all the time. DONT loose your temper because you know what is like with the police they will blame you for everything. BY the way I got coloured partner and know it babe.

Yoo could put up a funny sign to gtet the message across. If he looks in your window put it there, or even just write it big and tape it to the wall nearest his house. Write something like 'Nothing interesting going on today, so don't bother watching'

we have the same problem . but our guy is 83 ,what we do now is ignore him and just get on with our lives. don't do anything stupid you will end up in jail. try and grit your teeth and take no notice ,if you keep talking about him you will only feel worse and work yourself up . all i do now is say sad old bastard under my breath and then try and forget him . know its hard but you will have to get on . my guy stands at the door and listens to everyone coming in and out and keeps painting on our wall nearly came to blows but have taken a different approach now and we can go days without talking about him, good luck.

Call the police.
Or better yet, talk to him the next time he does something. Tell him that you feel as though you are being watched and you will contact proper authorities if he doesn't stop.
Good luck.

You need to punk him once or twice. If I were you I'd buy a life size dummy and then at night make some screaming sounds and make sure he sees you carry the "body" out to your back yard and bury it. haha He might leave you alone then.

That's creepy and that would get on my last nerve. Don't hurt him, you don't want to go to jail. Bake some cookies with exlax in the batter, that way when they eat the cookies, they'll spend their time running to the bathroom instead of watching you ;-)

"WTF"!.
"Tell me your kidding this guys taking the piss"!.
All I have to say is you have been calm way to long if it was me I would blow my lid at him. Try and make it so that there are a-lot of people about and then have a go say that he reminds you of that guy Norris off coronation st. Tell him he's a f*cking nosey neighbour.

He's watching you because you are obviously a nasty piece of work and you're annoying him. Do you play music loudly all the time and want to steal stuff all the time? I would bet you do.
Why do you want to beat someone up for looking at you? Grow up and get a life.
PS Thanks for the comment sweetie. Illustrated my point perfectly.
Your poor neighbour is living next door to a nutter.
