I can't understand why you can't understand that people follow the religion they grew up with. Most people just go on following the religion of their family. I wonder if you did a thorough, unbiased study of all religions and then settled on one you never had as a child. Just wondering.

I am only fluent in conventional English, so I am not sure if I understand your question. If I understand you correctly, you are asking if Hindus and Buddhists care that they are going to hell for following their religious philosophies. I believe that both the Hindus and the Buddhists believe in reincarnation. I don't know how they figure that they will be reborn as another person. If the newly arrived person has no memory of their previous existence, how can someone say that he had a previous existence, rather than the more logical presumption that he was another individual.

At any rate, my understanding is that they don't believe in hell. They think that they continue being reborn until they reach the point of perfection, which they call nirvana. At that point, they cease to exist.

Perhaps a Hindu or Buddhist can give a better explanation of their beliefs. At any rate, all a Christian can do is make them aware of the Christian beliefs. Ultimately, they make the decision what they will believe,

No one is going to hell. Everyone will be saved. "For God delivered all to disobedience, that he might have mercy upon all." Romans 11:32. God "wills everyone to be saved and to come to knowledge of the truth" 1 Timothy 2:4.

And frankly, I like Buddhism. Christians could learn a lot from it. It's the one world religion that spread almost completely without violence.

They don't understand that they are going to Hell. They think that their philosophy is right, and some don't truly believe in Heaven.. they believe in Paradise, etc... Where if they are good, then they go to these places. They have been led astray from the one true philosophy. Christianity. The belief that Jesus is God's son and that he died for us on the cross, and then rose again.
And in the end, their deeds won't save them. The only thing that will save them is repentence... your one chance on Earth. If you don't confess that you are a sinner, and truly believe in Christ then you will have to live eternal punishment.

really, all religion is more or less old nonsense.while it may SEEM that you and your thoughts are most important in the whole world, you are really just 1 person in 6 billion.

the entire world, with one small exception, is comprised of others.

everyone else thinks YOU'RE going to hell. but you don't, b/c you see yourself as in the right.

why even bother asking a religion question on this website?

Religion is one of the worlds great ills. When you die, you rot in the ground and all the physical instruments of your 6 senses...sight, hearing, smell, taste, touch and mind rot away. This is obvious if you observe a dead body in decay. No one can deny this. As for heaven , hell and afterlife, that is all mere speculation and faith in the mind of the believer.

It has to do with faith friend you have no proof there a heaven or a hell. There no proof there is a God or God/ss it all going to come down to ones own heart. If you believe everything that is written by man "supposedly inspired by some God" We all are going to hell.

"Never deign a man his god for you will never know if he is right or wrong until its to late."

You have stated the obvious, it is my choice. I do not believe in Hell therefore I am unconcerned. I chose Buddhism, however I cannot understand why you are so upset about it. Peace
