If I had MY OWN country, then I guess I'd be a dictator. I don't know how I'd get the country, but for the sake of argument, suppose I did.
Then, I would allow any kind of symbol or clothing, under these conditions:
1) Everyone who wants to become a citizen has to write an exam to prove their tolerance of others.
2) Everyone has to respect the choices of their family members, not coerce them into following the parents' religion.
3) Schools and workplaces are secular. That means no symbols or special clothes, etc. in those places.
4) How people dress on their own time in the privacy of their homes is their own business.
Thanks for asking this intriguing question.

No, I would make sure that all people knew a Bible verse: For God so Loved the World that He gave His Only Begotten Son. That Whosoever Believeth in Him shall not perish, but have Everlasting Life. It would be a country that all people could know and Love God. There would be Bibles on every street corner, and churches near and far. There would be Peace and Love and the teachings would be that all people would want to live there. Just Like America. Everyone Loves America. Everyone wants to come to America. But when the people comes to this country , they would have to abide by the Foundation of God.

No. That would just cause groups of believers to band together and protest, and urge their governments to impose sanctions, and generally cause various hooplah and noise-making to ensue.
So much simpler just to place extra taxes on religious items being manufactured, imported, bought or sold. Not an outrageous amount of tax, just a little more, a luxury tax, like the US imposes on cigarettes.

It is really funny that those who champion free speach, want to silence people of faith.
Those who claim to be open-minded, have a closed mind when it comes to religion.
Those who preach tolerance, have no tolerance for Christianity.
Those who support philosophy, reject the book of widsom.
Would you ban all books that supported a moral premise?
Would you ban the books of other religions also?

I think some day you might have you own country. It may be only a few feet long and wide and it may be hot as Hell, but you can call it your own.

Sorry bud, but if you picked Canada the next days headline would announce your assassination.
I don't like religion, but i would never deny people their rights, and i would never tolerate a dictator who would.

Ban? No, because then people feel persecuted, and cling to their symbols even more.
