No, you are not the only one who finds this odd. I sometimes feel uncomfortable with the concept of free will. I think that evil is one of the most challenging aspects of faith. Personally I've always thought of heaven as being beyond my own imagination.
I suppose the idea of heaven being the 'perfect place' and the idea of free will is contradictory. Whether the two concepts are beyond reconciliation, I simply do not know. The concept that free will and perfection are mutually exclusive is, I believe, largely a matter of faith.

It is made clear that the unforgivable sin can ALWAYS be committed whether we are in Heaven or on earth.
Evil exists on earth because that is the opposite of what God is. The fact is God tolerates it for a time and is indeed giving us the freewill to choose him or evil.

Heaven is where we humans are mature enough to use our free will wisely instead of abusing it to cause harm to ourselves or others.
Evil, sickness, and disease exist as "symptoms" that we are not in perfect harmony yet, but still are making poor choices that lead to weakness, conflict and destructive consequences.
When we are healed and whole in spirit, so will the world reflect this same harmony and health. So we will have the Kingdom of God on Earth as it exists in Heaven. The two will become one.

i replaced into below the impact that the clarification Christians "bash" confession is because you're asking forgiveness from a clergyman, no longer God. some Christians do no longer comprehend pergatory through fact it quite is taught as symbolism interior the Bible. there's no "loose" passport. All ought to admit in Christ, be baptized and witness. in spite of the shown fact that, through fact all of us sin, a Christian might comprehend this sin and ask forgiveness. there's a distinction between intentional sin and unintentional. Intentional is once you intend on going out and getting inebriated, stealing, etc. unintentional is like once you accidently decide somebody without understanding. as long because it quite is known and then repented (or if it quite is a persevering with undertaking, to get help), Jesus will forgive each and every time. in case you're no longer sorry for the sin and don't repent, there is dire outcomes. wish this facilitates!

You only find this odd because of a lack of understanding. As we are conformed to the will of God his will is our will. Flesh and blood do not enter in to the kingdom of heaven.

The Bible says that we are tempted when it's a thought and sin when we act upon it. The Bible talks about him trying to get other angels in on his deal, and when they DID it, they got thrown out of heaven.

It is not the free will that causes evil on earth, it is the original sin.

What if heaven were a place of extreme indulgence in sensory pleasures? There would be much sin there.

Easy.
God realized He could not create true love or forced it upon a being, but true love would only manifest in sons of freewill. The wisdom of God also knew it would be necessary to govern sons of freewill by laws that are fair and righteous, to hold them accountable. God was willing to risk rejection and rebellion against the law. Sons of freewill could choose not to love Him but must obey the law.
Hell is in heaven but it is also separation from God. You did not study. Get crackin.
Possibly you do not want to know the truth of God's Word.
Am I the only one who finds this odd?
