If this is your first time to bake a Christmas Ham, your best bet is to purchase one of the Spiral Cut Hams -- ones with the Honey Glazing already applied.
The Instructions to bake the Ham are right on the Package, and for additional glazing -- I purchased the Boar's Head Brown Sugar and Spice Ham Glaze.

What you want to get is called a Picnic Ham. Most supermarkets have them on sale this time of year for Christmas.

Try a spiral cut, honey glazed ham. You just have to warm it and it is fabulous both warm and cold.

Farmers used to have some pigs apart from even if else they farmed, Sheep, farm animals, flowers and so on. they'd spend the three hundred and sixty 5 days fattening up the pig with scraps and so on and easily kill his pig on a particular day specially being christmas.
