Yeah right now im taking amoxcilian (850 mg) for my infection... Can this strong dose of it cause severe cramping? I have taken lower doses of it before and i never cramped because of it....

It shouldn't cause cramping unless it's supposed to be taken with food and you didn't. Also, don't take with OJ, it is too strong and the combination might cause cramping. Try something with less acid. If it continues through tom. or you get diarrhea i would call the Dr. or the ER to see what they say. you could maybe lower the dose if you must just until you can talk to the Dr. office since you can tolerate it for sure. Usually though a lower dose would still upset your tummy if you had a problem with it. Goo dluck.

Do you mean stomach cramps?

First 850 is an unusual dose. Is it 750mgs?

It can cause nausea and diarrhoea.

yes, it does casue cramping. you might need to eat a sandwich or something likethat before you take the pill to prevent that for mhappening, it might also make you dizzy.

yes anti-biotics do all kind of strange things, talk to a doc if your symptoms get worse.

yes.this is a common side effect of this med.
