I recall though when I lived in West Germany in the 80's I could only find it in stores near American military bases.

My husband is British and he says, yes they have peanut butter in England. And I seem to remember being in a UK grocers and seeing it on the shelf there

The british boycotted PB for a long time B/c it was invented by a black man and british people are all very racist. They just started eating it in reeses PB cups. But then they rioted when they found out what it was.
