A fresh bouquet of flowers. She probably has everything she needs already and if it is electric(electronic) she would have to figure out how it works, if it is a knick knack type thing she would have to find a place for it and dust it,clothing would have to be the right size and color or you'd have to return it etc etc. Flowers would brighten her day and she would express how lovely they are to all her friends. What woman doesn't like fresh flowers?

If she has aches and pains those neat pillow type things you heat up in the microwave are awesome. A foot massager/ soker. A nice sweater if she is in a cold area. A shawl she can put around her shoulders while watching TV or to sit on her lap. I can go on and on.
If she is alone and can have one a puppy or kitten!

not a clock. what is elderly. 40's a watch, 50's a pretty bobble, 60's pretty pin, 70's a sweater and after that i have no clue
