Take a pain reliever, Advil, Tylenol, aspirin. Your teeth will hurt for another day. Remember to take a pain reliever every time you go to get your braces adjusted. You may want to find foods that are easier to eat like jello, pudding, milkshakes to eat on these days when your teeth are aching.

They're going to hurt for the next 8-10 days, darling.
Take an Advil.
Honestly, there is no way to deal with the pain other than a pill and waiting.
I get mine off in a week or two, but I remember 5 years ago how terrible it was.
The roots of the teeth will feel like they're being pried open. You'll live.

You should take a pain reliever. I also have braces and I know what is like to have those things in your mouth, but the stronger you are, the faster you will see the diference, I assure you that. For me it only took a couple of months to see a big improvement, and it will probably be the same for you if dont remove them every five minutes (ca you remove them or are they permanent?). It will hurt a little when the doctor adjustes them, but only for 2 or 3 days and it will worth it.

I just got braces about a week ago (not this past wednesday but the one before; 12/13) and what I did to ease the pain the first week was eat all soft foods like apple sauce, pudding, ice cream, yogurt, etc; use the wax; and take painrelievers such as advil or tylenol.

Braces are bound to hurt - they work by actually pulling the teeth out of their current position into the desired position.
Take a Tylenol or Advil, making sure the dosage is right for your age. That's really about all you can do.

I am an adult and i had braces not too long ago.The first couple of days they felt hot so i drank a lot of water to cool them off.The hurting will go away after some time .Get your mom or dad to call the office and ask if you can have a mild painkiller and listen carefully to the instructions from the orthodontist's staff and follow them. my braces came off six months sooner than planned
because i did everything excactly the way they requested.

you could try taking Motrin or Advil but it might not take away all the pain. You mostly have to just take the pain for a few days and eat really soft foods. After a few days it won't hurt as much.
