Sounds like your sister has more than one problem if the kitty "doesn't look well." However, hopefully she's okay--my kitty couldn't if she wanted to, because there's a shelf about 4 inches above it! But she does carefully walk across the desk to get my attention, messing papers etc. I just give her a tiny tap on her bottom, so she sits on the fax & stares at me. It's true they like to sit on something warm--yet have you ever noticed--it doesn't even have to be warm or elevated; they'll sit on a PLATE, & once I dropped a very thin place mat on the floor, & she sat right in the middle of it. It's sort of like they're making it their very personal place. Even a sheet of paper! I liked your second answer!

I used to have a couple of feline pals and they were pretty demanding for my attention. It was great in the winter time when they would sit on my lap, but in the summer, it was like having an electric blanket on that just won't go away and keeps coming back for more. If it is looking ill, it probably is, and its wanting some attention from whomever. Since we humans sit and stare at a box for hours on end, it probably figures it'll get noticed and it'll receive some attention, just like my four year old did.

I had this video going that had a huge male cat making a noisy fuss. He replaced into meowing, and hissing. My cat went as much as the demonstrate screen of the television, swatted the percentof the cat interior the face, and left the room. many of the time they are going to easily watch very heavily yet another cat. My canines likes to observe monkeys. He gets all excited and starts barking whilst in the event that they make noise.

Cats like warmth. To stop her doing that though, you have to teach her to stay somewhere else. When she is sitting on the computer, take her off, and when she finally goes to an acceptable place give her a kitty treat or something she likes alot.

Cats try to find something that is warm and higher in elevation they can rest on. The monitor is providing this for her. Simply kick her off and find a place that is on top of something in the sun. I am sure the cat will eventually like that over you constantly kicking it off of the computer.

My cat sits on the keyboard until I bring her chair over and put it right next to mine. Then she curls up on the chair and keeps me company for hours. (Her chair has a nice warm blanket on it.)
