Just let it end, do nothing. Don't contact a guy who already doesn't want you to tell him you don't want him, will make it seem like you are looking to have a conversation about the relationship when that is something he should initiate. Then, just look for a nice guy who asks you out for a date on a Saturday night and wants to love you!

In person is always best but can be uncomfortable. So do it over the phone it will be easier or even email in a situation like this. Generally people that have FWB one person, usually the female will develop feelings and the guy will be okay just being a FWB. Ive been in your situation and I ended it for me I couldnt deal any longer knowing I would never be more then a FWB.

In person. Like you said, you are friends other than that. Ive had to break off these kinds of relationships before, because I'm in a committed one now. Trust me its not as bad as you think it will be!!

I would do it in person if possible. You can tell him something like how you've been doing some serious thinking, and would like to reserve sex for serious relationships only. He may have some issues with it, such as fear that you are pushing him, but any fear of committment on his part will make it easier for him to end things.

In person, if he is a good friend as you say he will want to hear your feelings and communicate honestly to you about his own feelings. This way you will know what you need to know weather he cares for you in the same way you care for him.

NEVER break off anything with anyone over e-mail or msn. That's really disrespectful.

Go meet him for coffee, then tell him your family wants to meet him...in particular, your Daddy.....No....Meet him for coffee, tell him how you feel and that the "benefits" just don't cut it anymore- let him know that you're happy to break it all off, but if he wants more commitment then you're open to that too...
