WHy does he want to see me after he dumped me then not show up?????

I was a "perfect" girlfriend, i was kind, understanding, visited him when he went to jail, waited for him to get out, loaned him money, never nagged him or was possesive, always complimented him etc. not ONCE during our relationship was a harsh word ever exchanged.
One day he called me and told me that i was to good for him, and he had nothing to offer me, and that because he just started A.A (alcoholics anonymous) that his sponsor says he should not be in a relationship for the first year so he can focus on his own recovery. He said he was sorry to lead me on and that he would only hurt me because he doesnt feel like he is good enough to be with me.He did not call or answer my texts for about a week, then last night he texted me and said he really wants to come over the next mornimg to talk. I said yes. he kept texting all night begging to talk.in the morning i called to tell him come on over,he said i wish you a merry christmas and hung up. and he did not show up to talk.why bother?

Hey....I need a new car, some new clothes, and I could use some spending cash, too!!! You were a pushover...... you gave him anything he wanted because YOU were willing to give it to him in exchange for a little attention. The clue words here are JAIL, and ALCOHOLIC. Move on to a different type of man, this type will not work well for you. Don't be so willing to be a doormat... he was using you.!!
